Jewellery is Ben Albrecht’s heritage and his passion. From 2003 until 2012, he was a partner in the iconic Melbourne jewellers Kozminsky, a business that had been in the Albrecht family since his father Kurt acquired it in the 1960s.

Ben’s personal journey as a jeweller began in 1989 with his apprenticeship at the Cultured Pearl Export Company in Tokyo and continued through a six-year engagement as an auctioneer and valuer with Leonard Joel Auctioneers  in Melbourne.

As Managing Director of Kozminsky, Ben oversaw the successful expansion of the family business into fine art. Kozminsky’s gallery hosted many successful exhibitions by emerging and established artists.

Starting Ben Albrecht Jewellery in 2012, he brings all of this knowledge, history and expertise to bear in providing a personalised service to his clients. When asked "what would you like Ben Albrecht Jewellery to be known and remembered for"? He replied "The jewellery industry worldwide has changed immensely over the last 30 years, the art of making and providing beautiful handmade pieces is rare today... a designed handmade piece is a one off... one of a kind! I like knowing my clients have pieces that no one else has. The goal is simple: to work with clients exclusively and privately to create bespoke pieces of the utmost quality.
